Solace — Charity Concert

Held on 28 October 2023, Solace was an unprecedented collaboration jointly organized by Project Gift of Song and the NTU Piano Ensemble.

Through an evening of music, as well as heartfelt sharings from youths on their encounters with life and mortality, the concert kindled conversations on matters surrounding end-of-life care, beyond what words can express.  We were supported by performers from all walks of life, ranging from multiple NTU Cultural Activities Clubs, to MediaCorp artiste Ayden Sng and Ambulance Wish Singapore ambassador and world Wushu champion, Vincent Ng.  The concert was graced by Professor Pang Weng Sun, Vice-Dean (Clinical Affairs) of LKCMedicine, as Guest-of-Honour.

The event exceeded its fundraising target of $50,000, all of which was donated to Ambulance Wish Singapore in support of its wish-granting efforts for terminally ill patients. Solace has also been featured on news platforms such as Lianhe Zaobao and Tamil Murasu.
